I am a very ordinary person – interested in and curious about everything. Learning is exhilarating to me and I have a passion for reading, theatre, museums, stitching, music (no talent whatsoever in any of those categories).
My family and friends love and nurture me – and I love and nurture them. Life is full and rich. Life is satisfying. Life is good.
It has been surprising to encounter so many interesting and delightful folks while social networking. Who woulda thunk it? Me: an Old Grandmother blogging!
Send me a note now and then; let me know of your interests. I love and treasure the connections!

/ March 10, 2012My dear friend, I am in awe of your curious, investigative, delving, interested, open mind. So many things that you put on your blog are so interesting to me. Keep up the good work and know that I am keeping up with you! Miss you so much. Just wish we could meet in the coffee shop at Barnes & Noble and catch up!

/ March 11, 2012Oh, I too wish we could be sitting in the Barnes & Noble coffee shop chatting away (with a great deal of laughter as we talk about everything in the world). The memories are good – but your presence would be better than good.
I miss you!!

/ January 12, 2013Hope,
Would love to talk to you about Sammon/Salmon Roots. My grandmother was Margaret Ethel Salmon Phillips. Been trying to track this line down for a DAR submission. Working on John/Betty and William/Rebecca. Please drop me a line if you get a chance.
Toodles,
Laura

/ March 3, 2013Hope,
William Poland and Mary Swadley are my 4th great grandparents also! What a joy to find you. I would love to talk to you about our line, as I am just now beginning to sort through all of my grandmothers geneology records. Btw, we are fellow Coloradans as well. Looking forward to talking. Thanks!
